Game Director Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable discussion that reimagining sets in a way which is suitable for Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be feasible for the launch of buy cheap Diablo IV Gold in the first quarter of next year. However, the team is contemplating making them part of the live-streaming service.

"As we've been working on the game, it seemed it was possible to evolve sets in a unique style that's similar to what we've experienced during Diablo 3. However, we'd like more time to integrate sets into the game in a way that will blend well with the other elements of Diablo 4, so you aren't going to see them in the first few days within the game." Shely explains. "We think that sets are interesting, and we'd like to do them right - therefore, we're looking at for our live service."

"There's a legendary staff member in the demo which turns the spell's fireball to three fireballs," former game director Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) back in 2019. "The difference might be that you know, a cast right now in live Diablo 3 gives you bonuses that are a lot more than the thousands. I believe we're designing this game now to be a bit less constrained in order to not get us into that super escalating Power Curve."

If you're new to the concept, Set Items are essentially strong equipment pieces that give more power when put together. They're "set" as they always provide the same bonus features, and as such they're part of a set. They first came into play within Diablo 2, though it was 3 that they became extremely dominant buy Diablo IV Gold. It is yet to be determined how they'll affect their impact on the Diablo 4 meta should they appear, but there's no doubt that their influence on the evolving fashion scene will be greatly felt.
