Custom sneakers, like the owners themselves, come in a variety of styles. Sometimes soles are replaced or retooled; sometimes the colors are re-dyed or materials are swapped out; and sometimes all you need is a paintbrush and your imagination.Ben Smith of Brush by Ben Smith does exactly the latter. Smith takes the nike roshe run sale Flyknit PRM and, in true artistic fashion, hand-paints the leather side panels in a geometric camouflage compromised of various shades of greys and blacks. Less is indeed more. The pair you see here was made exclusively for Valentin Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars.

The latest in this year’s series of tributes, both official and otherwise, to the Nike Air MAG is a custom nike roshe run by designer le shoechainz. Here, the Phylon midsole has been painted grey speckled with electric blue, with LED lights incorporated into the shoe for that essential futuristic touch. Otherwise, the grey upper with a Dynamic Flywire build to mimic the lines on the sides of the original Air MAG add to the overall aesthetic of the custom.

The Yeezy Boost 350 silhouette has been blasted for being “inspired” by Nike’s uber-popular cheap nike roshe run, and rightfully so. With its similar knitted sock-like upper and Boost/Phylon sole, the shoe does bear some uncanny similarities. But one fan took it upon himself to create a custom sneaker — fusing the two camps together. The result is a Nike Roshe Run matched with the Yeezy Boost 350′s recognizable printed mesh upper.

The sequel to one of his most popular custom jobs from last year, Rocket Boy Nift takes to the nike roshe run women to reimagine it with a snack-derived makeover. Dubbed the “Concession Stand 2” makeup, Rocket Boy Nift feeds the runner’s upper with a bevy junk food-inspired items printed throughout, a bag of popcorn serves as the newest addition to the motif. Rated E for everyone, a closer look at Rocket Boy Nift‘s Nike Roshe Run “Concession Stand 2” is featured after the jump.
